Altar Society

The Altar Society brings together the women of our parish in fellowship and service. Our quarterly meetings provide a chance to stay connected, informed, and involved in the quiet work that keeps our parish welcoming and running smoothly. The St. Mary Altar Society meets quarterly on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m., with Mass at 6:30 p.m., during the school year.
WHAT DO THEY DO? The Altar Society does far more than serve coffee and rolls on the first Sunday of the month. Members help keep the church clean, stocked, and prepared for liturgies. They plan and decorate for Christmas and Easter, provide refreshments for Confirmation, First Communion, and Graduation, support our parish families, and are always ready to cook and serve funeral dinners when needed. Their behind-the-scenes efforts make a real difference in parish life.
All women of the parish are considered members, and monthly committees help share responsibilities. If you are a woman in the parish, an Altar Society Chairperson may contact you. Please prayerfully consider serving. Thank you!
